So everyone heard about Zimbabwe’s 100 billion dollar bank note released (and later discontinued) last month in response to the staggering 10+ million percent inflation rate. Inflationary currency, like that of Weimar Germany, occupied Greece, and post-WWII Hungary is fine, but in the realm of international bank notes some attention needs to be given to the women who grace paper money.
Bewitching, captivating, engaging, graceful, magnetic, mesmeric.
It takes more than just zeroes to make a note attractive. Try superb facial expressions, gazes, head positions, and body angles that dare the bearer to spend the note. I bet these women could take Washington, Lincoln, Hamilton, Jackson, Grant, and Franklin in a staredown.

…And the greatest bank note of all – Gotta love the bird hanging out in the vase!

Czechoslovakia 20 Korun 1949
One thing’s for sure: Lady Liberty has nothing on these foreign beauties.

A glorious post, but I would recommend adding Bubusara the Kyrgyz ballerina on the 5 som note and the lovely writer Lesya Ukrainka on the 200 hyrvnia note.
