Colbie Caillat: 3rd single “The Little Things” is almost ready to chart on the Billboard Hot 100. Same sound as “Bubbly” and “Realize”. Will be used by MTV.

Metro Station: 2nd single “Seventeen Forever” is ready for release. Good for teenagers who are having sex, no one is quite sure on the exact lyrical meaning. Could be a young guy with a soon-to-be college girl, could be a statutory situation, could just youthful passion. You decide.

Katy Perry: 2nd single “Hot N Cold” is #68 on the Billboard Hot 100. A tough follow-up, but Blender Magazine and Entertainment Weekly seem to like it. Video to be shot any day.

Demi Lovato: 1st single “Get Back” just opened at #43. I had no idea who this girl was until I saw that she is touring with the Jonas Brothers. Then it all made sense. She’s born in 1992, was in a Disney Channel movie, and opens for Jobros. Big on google searches. Can’t compare to Ludacris’s views on the subject.

Taylor Swift and Chris Brown somehow use songs used from Olympic album to hit #10 and #16, respectively. Not worthy of a listen.
