Update: Piper did a great job holding Trig at the end of the Vice Presidential debate. Kudos to her for handing out licorice to reporters on her flight to St. Louis.

The youngest daughter of Sarah Palin shows a great deal of poise. The pictures essentially speak for themselves. Photos from McCainBlogette.

Why all the Cindy McCain hate? I like her. I also like Piper — I just wish her mom wasn’t nuts.

Cindy McCain is a fine woman, but she just doesn’t seem accessible to me. I’m just poking fun.

the pictures tell the story…Piper upstages her mother…Sarah upstages McCain…it should be a Palin/McCain ticket…PIPER PALIN…watch what happens as the country gets to know her better…she could be the key to the swing votes…mark my words!

So… I ALMOST linked to this until I scrolled down and saw your caption of Piper and Trig: “Piper Palin pays more attention to Trig than her mother does”… How and why do you think you can make this statement? Do you “hang out” with them often? My guess is you are an only child on one of many spoiled left wing brats waiting for someone to give you something. You obviously don’t know about family.

kb: I am sure that Sarah Palin pays of attention to Trig. In fact, there are pictures out there (on mccainblogette) that document this. My initial caption was meant to be tongue-in-cheek, but I have edited it. However, I do worry that if Gov. Palin were to become Vice President that she would be hard pressed to find the extra time that would be ideal to care for a child who has special needs in addition to her other children. Btw, I’m not a single child.

I’m glad you updated this with a picture of piper wetting her hand with saliva and then proceeding to mat down Trig’s hair during the RNC. I was dying of laughter when CSPAN was filming it. Also, Bristol’s BF is not as attractive as the article from Alaska describes him. He looks like Sam Wise Gangi (sp?) from Lord of the Rings.

I’d be worried about Piper’s level of experience. She hasn’t even been mayor of a town of 9,000 people yet, which of course puts you on the fast track for the White House.

I love this! can you PLEASE add the pic of her in that tiara/ red dress at her mothers swearing in? that pissed off look is just what DC needs!

    Jill: consider it done!

YESS! And the rise of Piper Palin begins! She will be your first woman president. In 2052.

Your content is too good for you to change it based on the comments you get. Especially don’t change things based on hypocritical posts like the one from kb — does SHE “hang out” with you to know that you “are an only child of one of many spoiled left wing brats waiting for someone to give you something” or “that you obviously don’t know about family”?

She doesn’t deserve the change; the caption was better the way it was.

I agree TKBB, don’t be intimidated! Even though Sarah Palin gives me nightmares and makes me feel physically ill, Piper is beyond adorable. It seems Track and Bristol are well on their way to becoming “tundra trash,” (just wait ’til the report comes out about Track’s misdemeanors) but Piper seems independent enough to shake free of Sarah and Todd’s bad parenting.
