Wednesday December 3rd, 10pm/9pm on CBS. Looks beautiful in HD. Everything stands out, if you know what I mean. The FCC hates it (more on that tomorrow).
Too bad Adriana Lima doesn’t know what she’s talking about:
Models, seven of them winged angels, showed 68 outfits, including the $5 million Black Diamond Fantasy Miracle Bra worn by Lima and designed by jeweler Martin Katz. Decorated with white and black diamonds and rubies, the bra will be for sale in the company’s catalog.
“You could wear it as an open top,” Katz said. “It looks like a finished top.”
“I always wanted to wear the Fantasy Bra. It’s the first time that Victoria’s Secret makes a black diamond bra,” Lima said. “A woman could definitely buy it if they love it and men too.”
I’m not sure why Usher was chosen as the performer, but the producers must feel that he represents a ‘return to glamor’ which is the theme of the show. The Spice Girls and Will.i.am were horrible picks last year. Two years ago with Justin Timberlake was much better, as ‘Sexy Back’ has a good runway beat.
At least there’s some hope on the fashion front:
Some of the other exotic looks included a knitted catsuit in crystal yarn, with a hard leather lacquer belt, a recycled plastic bag jacket and skirt worn over a hand knitted bra and boy briefs, a quilted corset with ostrich feathers and crystal accents.
