Vampiros Lesbos is exactly what it sounds like – a vixen vampiress killing women to quench her insatiable thirst for blood. Yes, this film is indeed a great West-German film from a bygone cultural period. Director Jesus Franco may not have created a masterpiece, but this film is consistent with other European sexploitation films of the era. It’s not your typical movie, but the noisy soundtrack and wild zooms combine (or don’t combine, rather) to make for an enjoyable treat. Twilight must be jealous.
