Commercial driving jobs pay good money and are essential for our nation’s high level of commerce. However, isn’t it a bit risky to potentially hire someone with multiple DUIs? I guess it works out if none of them took place in a commercial vehicle. Also, I’m convinced that Optimus Prime, my transport industry idol, was pulled over more than a few times back in the day. He still managed to help save the world, so I guess I can understand how a couple of DUIs won’t get in the way. Do you have what it takes?:

•Class A CDL!
•1 year verifiable tractor-trailer experience
Within the past 5 years!
•No more than 8 jobs total in the last 3 years!
•No more than 2 moving violations in the past 5 years!
•No more than 1 preventable accident in the past year!
•No serious moving violations in the past 5 years!
•No felony convictions in the past 10 years.
*No misdemeanors within last 3 years!
•No careless or reckless driving convictions in the
Past 3 years!
•No major preventable accidents (exceeding $10K)
The past 3 years unless approved by CDP Manager!
•No more than 2 DUI/DWI’s ever; none in the past 5
Years and the other must be outside of 15 years!
None in a commercial vehicle ever!

No dice here due to my lack of a CDL…
