Also, don’t miss the behind the scenes video of the shoot:
Another very diverse group of songs ranging from electro to pop to progressive house to progressive trance to indie rock to foreign rock to house to folk to borderline rap. Get excited!
Countries represented: France, USA, Australia, United Kingdom, Romania, Ireland, Netherlands.
- Designer Drugs – Zombies (Kiddie Smile Remix): The remix includes French lyrics that make the song even more intense. Can’t wait for next Halloween.
- Robyn – Dancing On My Own (Fred Falke Radio Edit): Robyn continues her comeback and Fred Falke continues to structure his remixes the same. And there’s nothing wrong with that…Yet.
- Uffie feat. Pharrell – ADD SUV (Armand Van Helden Remix): Just funky enough and Pharrell really adds to the track.
- George Acosta feat. Fisher – Beautiful: Soothing vocals and driving beat. Very progressive.
- Beyoncé – Why Don’t You Love Me (EDX Remix): A very Hed Kandi type of song that will be perfect this summer. Loving the strings.
- Wynter Gordon – Dirty Talk: Produced by David Guetta who continues to crank out the American dance-pop tunes. Not sure why there’s no release date slated for this extremely catchy.
- Sam Sparro – Pocket (The Presets Radio Mix): One year old, but exquisite nonetheless. Great advice in these lyrics.
- Camera Obscura - The Sweetest Thing: A la “She & Him”, this song is almost too cute.
- Miami Horror – Moon Theory (Sam La More Remix): The original track was great, but Sam La More’s take is even more intriguing. Nice transfers of energy.
- Sarah Blasko – Hold On My Heart (The Presets Remix): Sarah Blasko kills in the soft vocals department. 100% Australian and 100% worthwhile.
- Example – Kickstarts (Radio Edit): This guy from the U.K. continues to produce unique rap-dance tracks. Cool video too.
- Vama – Cantec De Gasit: Be the second non-Romanian to listen to this song. Don’t worry, most of this pop-rock is sans lyrics.
- Andy Bell – Call On Me: Thankfully not a remake of Eric Prydz’s 2004 jam. Andy creates a very experimental sound.
- Kaskade feat. Becky Jean Williams – Empty Streets: One of the two best tracks from the new album.
- Kaskade feat. Haley & EDX – Don’t Stop Dancing: Perhaps the best song of the month. Hands down the classiest song of the season.
- Don Diablo – A Million Miles: Great chorus. Less intense than some of Don Diablo’s previous work.
- Yolanda Be Cool & DCUP – We No Speak Americano: HUGE in Australia right now – and for good reason. Flawless.
- Lady Gaga – Alejandro (Bimbo Jones Radio Edit): The BPMs on the original were too slow anyway.
- Sia – Clap Your Hands (Fred Falke Remix): You either hate or love Sia’s vocals, but either way, Fred Falke again succeeds in creating a momentum-laden track.
- Minus the Bear – Excuses: For those cloudy sunsets.
- Two Door Cinema Club – Eat That Up, It’s Good For You: Sweet indie rock.
What happens if JavaScript files on a website are hacked? The website still functions, but lacks the desired functionality, that’s what. Now, this isn’t the end of the world, but it does create a major headache for the site owner/tech guy. A current hacking trend is to add a line of code to every file in the site directory with a .js ending (index.php files are also a common target). This line of code, a script itself, will cause JavaScript functions like JQuery to no longer function. Many Wordpress functions will no longer work either. Not cool. The solution?
- Reinstall Wordpress (this could correspond with a needed upgrade anyway). No big deal, seeing as this takes a matter of seconds.
- Delete and reinstall all plug-ins that use JS or search each plug-in folder and manually edit the file to remove the malicious code. The latter option is useful if you have modified the plug-ins.
- Delete and reinstall your theme or find your theme folder and fix the JS files (and index.php) by hand. Again, the latter is more time consuming, but is usually quickest.
- Repeat the above steps for any other sites under your main account that may have been compromised.
- Change your Wordpress and host passwords just to be safe.
Even though, musically speaking, this song is nothing special, why will it be commercially successful?
